This mixed-media painting is a diptych, comprised of two unframed wooden panels with a bare wood edge. The title is inspired in part by the writing of Lao Tzu, an ancient Chinese philosopher widely believed to have authored the Tao Te Ching, a fundamental text in what is now known as Taoism.
